My_Romance_Bookclub,
Hunger Games is a whole world of danger, politics, and survival。 This series will always be special to me。 Katniss is a powerful, strong character, but she also has a pure and emotional heart。 Are you team Gale or team Peeta? I've gone back and forth each time I read it。 I'll never stop rereading this wonderful story。 Hunger Games is a whole world of danger, politics, and survival。 This series will always be special to me。 Katniss is a powerful, strong character, but she also has a pure and emotional heart。 Are you team Gale or team Peeta? Elena,
I'm pleasantly surprised by how much I've enjoyed this book。 I have watched (by force) the movies in the last few years but I found it difficult to connect with the characters, particularly Peeta whom I disliked, and Katniss who I found rather dull。 However, the book emphasises the horror of them being actual teenagers, the gruesome ways the tributes are killed, and the chilling laws of Panem。 Safe to say I'm happy to finish the series as it has more depth than I originally thought。 I'm pleasantly surprised by how much I've enjoyed this book。 I have watched (by force) the movies in the last few years but I found it difficult to connect with the characters, particularly Peeta whom I disliked, and Katniss who I found rather dull。 However, the book emphasises the horror of them being actual teenagers, the gruesome ways the tributes are killed, and the chilling laws of Panem。 Safe to say I'm happy to finish the series as it has more depth than I originally thought。 。。。more
Adéla Krupičková,
I reread this in audio in a day and that tells you everything you have to know about it
Kirsten,
Strikerfang,
I prefer the movie over the book but the book is still absolutely brillaint and contains far greater detail than the movie。 Amazing plot and fast paced events。 Hunger games will always remain as a classic favourite。
Sashami,
The longest book of the year so far and I binged it in a day and a bit。 This is the second read I've ever done and I know I read this in y7, but I can’t remember the date so I set it to 1/1/13。 Anyway, I'm busy crying because I forgot all the extra scenes at the end。 The longest book of the year so far and I binged it in a day and a bit。 This is the second read I've ever done and I know I read this in y7, but I can’t remember the date so I set it to 1/1/13。 Anyway, I'm busy crying because I forgot all the extra scenes at the end。 。。。more

I potem oczekuje że będą razem szczęśliwi po igrzyskach。。 Jełop。 Tak jak nie lubię science-fiction tak to jest fajne。 Dobrze się czytało。

Nenanina ,
A book with such airtight writing that it manages to elevate a premise that would, in less able hands, come across as cheap and campy, to solid modern-classic status。 Full of surprising classical references, riveting, well-paced tension, and organic, flawed, original characters。 Criminally underrated。 This novel was my gateway into the literature world and manages to impress me every time I revisit it。
Lexie Smith,
Love the series so much I couldn’t possibly rate it lower just out of nostalgia’s sake。 BUT that said it truly hit different going through it now vs when I was younger。 It was almost better this time around。 There are so many complex motivations and crazy masterminding (by all of the characters) that I was able to recognize now but really went right over my head before。 Suzanne Collins did such a remarkable a job with this story, I am genuinely impressed。

Omg, the whole romance with Peeta and Katie’s and then her telling him it was for the games…WHAT?! Like, I know it’s to stay alive but honey no。 You can’t tell me you have no feelings for Peeta? He’s so sweet! I love him! Omg, my heart hurts。

Orla Butler,
3。75 stars。 A reread from my teens while I'm sick with covid and tiktok wouldn't stop reminding me it existed。 Its aged very well for a late 2000's early 2010's dystopian YA。 I had forgotten much of the details of this book beyond the bare plot and it has me itching for the next book and not to watch the movie version which is always a good sign 3。75 stars。 A reread from my teens while I'm sick with covid and tiktok wouldn't stop reminding me it existed。 Its aged very well for a late 2000's early 2010's dystopian YA。 I had forgotten much of the details of this book beyond the bare plot and it has me itching for the next book and not to watch the movie version which is always a good sign 。。。more

Insgesamt natürlich sehr spannende Story mit gutem Setting aber an manchen Stellen etwas zu oberflächlich/zu sehr Jugendroman

As an AI language model, I can't read books, but I can tell you that "The Hunger Games" is a popular science-fiction novel。 It was written by Suzanne Collins and was published in 2008。 The book is set in a dystopian future world, where a totalitarian government called the Capitol forces two teenagers from each of the twelve districts to participate in a televised fight to the death。 The protagonist of the story is a young girl named Katniss Everdeen from District 12, who volunteers to take her younger sister's place in the Hunger Games。 The book received critical acclaim and is one of the best-selling books of all time, making it into a popular movie franchise。
